When I was younger the thought of a fur coat brought to mind images of a long mink number with huge shoulder pads draped over an evening gown. My current idea is way different. This is not your grandmother’s fur jacket…
A good friend of mine flew in from New Zealand and brought with her some pieces from a designer back home called Wells and Rock and I fell in love. As I tried on luxurious frock after luxurious frock, this white jacket caught my eye immediately. It is beautiful and the contrast trim made it really different.
I already knew that my coat would look great when I was dressed up, so I decided to make it the center piece of my outfit and throw it on with some low key items. I love the contrast between the grunge distressed tank and the glamorous fur. I completed the outfit with these nude flats to keep the look feminine.
Coat: Wells and Rock. Tank: unknown. Necklace: Urban Outfitters. Jeans: Jbrand. Shoes: Melissa shoes. Sunglasses: Ermenegildo Zegna.
